Bio:

Shorter than most gnomes, Frood learned to fight at a young age.

Seeking adventure and shiny things, Frood enlisted in the navy where he was assigned the standard equipment for a ship’s archer (“And what exactly do you expect me to do with a longbow?”).

While on assignment escorting a merchant ship he was captured by pirates, who decided he’d be a fine addition to their crew.

He spent some time with the pirates and earned a bit of a bad reputation in the towns the ship would visit. The pirates thought it was funny to nickname him “Owlbear”.

Frood left the crew when he discovered that the “standard deal” he’d been offered was “his weight in gold”. He swore to get back the loot he deserved.
